THIS MODULAR VAPORIZATION TOOL-BASED SYSTEM WAS SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED TO DELIVER THE HIGHEST QUALITY VAPOR POSSIBLE.  IT IS NOT THE EASIEST, MOST CONVENIENT, NOR MOST DURABLE VAPORIZER ON THE MARKET.  PLEASE TREAT THE GLASS WITH RESPECT, HANDLE IT GENTLY, TURN IT DOWN TO A LOW TEMP SHORTLY BEFORE TURNING OFF, AND IT WILL SERVE YOU WELL .**

**COMMON SENSE CAUTIONS AND WARNINGS FOR USING AN ELECTRICAL POWER HEAT TOOL WITH EXPOSED HOT SURFACES AND COMPONENTS APPLY. NEVER TOUCH THE GLASS COVER ON THE VHW WHEN TURNED ON OR THE VCB COMPONENTS WHILE HOT . NEVER LEAVE THE VHW POWERED ON AND UNATTENDED OR USE AROUND FLAMMABLE MATERIALS. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. DO NOT DANCE WITH THE VHW EVEN IF YOU ARE IN LOVE WITH IT. USAGE REPRESENTS CONSENT TO COMPLETE RELEASE OF LIABILITY BEYOND PROTECTIONS AFFORDED BY THE PRODUCT WARRANTY**

** Before you start using the VHW, please position something fire proof SUCH AS A VHW Stand, CERAMIC plate or COFFEE MUG where you can safely set it down. BY USING A stand or MUG INSTEAD OF A PLATE IT WILL HEAT UP FASTER, BUT PLEASE DO NOT USE A GLASS TALLER THAN the glass COVER BECAUSE it could lead to DAMAGE. Do not leave VHW inverted and not in use for longer than one hour – to keep it hot and ready, but not in use for extended periods lay flat on a heat and flame proof surface **

** IF REPLACING THE GLASS HEATER COVER, BE EXTREMELY GENTLE AND TIGHTEN VERY SLOWLY AND CAREFULLY WHILE POSITIONING THE O-RING TO SPREAD THE LOAD EVENLY AND ONLY TIGHTEN ENOUGH TO SECURE---OVERTIGHTENING WILL BREAK THE GLASS!!! **

Quick Tips for Extraordinary Vaporizing

•  Let the Vrip Heat Wand heat up at max setting for 7-10 minutes so the glass can get hot.

•  Putting the VHW vertically in a VHW stand or ceramic coffee mug with the handle sticking out will help the VHW heat up faster because the rising heat is trapped by the glass.

•  Pack a full bowl to the brim with ground raw herbs or botanicals, the bowl is deceptively small

•  Take Two slow short pulls, keep the wand sealed into the intake, EXHALE all the way, begin inhaling slow and finish with some power behind it, and you will achieve huge, blue (not white) aromatic vapor clouds or VRIPs (VRIP:  (Noun/Verb) Vapor Respiratory Inhalation Perfection).

Not Getting Vapor Respiratory Inhalation Perfection?

The three most common mistakes that lead to thin vapor are:

1. Not allowing the wand to heat all the way up before use (let it pre-heat for 7-10 minutes before first use turned all the way up or close to it; back off a little to dial-in once fully heated up if you're getting a little smoke, using low temp herbs/oils, or want to pull slower).

2. Taking the wand tip out of the intake after the primer draws (keep the wand seated and sealed in the intake for a good 20-30 second heat up before pulling at all and then during the primer draws and the primary inhalations without removing it or cracking the seal...don't take it out at all until you've gotten some thick vapor and then stir quick and put it back in for more pulls; once all the glass is heated up - meaning the wand and the bowl - you can start your primer pulls right away and it shouldn't take as long to start thickening up and it's possible you will even have to crack the seal during pauses to prevent it from getting smoky).

3. Using herb with low oil content and/or not packing enough of it (only higher oil content herbs will produce thick condensed vapors without burning and only if you pack a good bowl of it finely chopped; to avoid waste packing more position the screen on the top half of the bowl and just pack the top and/or simply stir after you get some good inhalations and then take some more).

Thank you very much for your support.  We've put in a tremendous amount of research and development to ensure the optimal vaporizing experience.  The VHW features the industry's first, 100% all glass heat and vapor path and leverages a vortex inducing flow form design in the heating chamber and a sequential venturi effect in both the extraction chamber and delivery vessel for optimal vapor extraction and delivery.  We use an inert ceramic heating element that is encapsulated in borosilicate (Pyrex) glass.  The air that is used to vaporize the aromatic essences travels past only heated glass so that you can experience the cleanest aromatic vapors possible.  The advanced vortex flow form and sequential venturi design elements translate into the broadest spectrum and most condensed aromatic vapor extractions the world has ever inhaled!

The VHW system consists of three required components designed to be used with a Vaporization Water Tool or any compatible water pipe or bubbler that accepts 9.5mm or 12mm slider - 14.4mm or 18.8mm GonG and feels good ergonomically and is safe for the user:

•  Vaporization Heat Wand (VHW)

•  Vaporization Chamber Bowl Upper Intake Shorty (VCBUIS)

•  Vaporization Chamber Bowl Lower Bowl (VCBLB w/ 9.5mm or 12mm downstem or a 14.4 or 18.8 GonG joint)

The VHW has a silicon seal on the tip to make a tighter seal with the VCB and is etched with “ HOT ” to make the obvious more obvious…. DON 'T TOUCH THE GLASS WHEN IT IS ON OR YOU WILL GET SCALDED!   If it is your first time using the VHW, plug it in and turn it up to it's maximum setting and let it heat up for 7-10 minutes.

Note:  a small amount of water vapor will often release from the heating element the first few uses and condense inside the glass; this is normal and should dissipate quickly. By removing the temperature dial after it is set to your preferred setting (pull straight up/use a small flat head to start if necessary) the water vapor will dissipate quicker.

After 10 minutes, you can back it off by three hash marks or so as shown on the temp dial and begin vaporizing and dialing-in the perfect temperature, up or down, to taste.  Generally speaking, with many herbs and users, the VHW can be used after only two-three minutes of heating up, but due to the amount of thermal mass represented by the glass will continue to collect heat until a fully heated operational point is reached at around 7-10 minutes.  Because of this we recommend giving the wand a complete heat up period for the first "dialing-in" sessions and if using higher vaporization temperature herbs so that the optimal temperature setting determined is based upon a complete heat-up.  Use of a ceramic coffee mug, or the VHW stand reduces complete heat time to about five minutes. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE COFFEE MUG OR VHW STAND WILL ALSO GET HOT ON THE OUTER SURFACES IF THE VHW IS LEFT ON FOR EXTENDED PERIODS OF TIME AND IS NOT INTENDED FOR EXTENDED PERIODS OF NON-USAGE WHILE HOT .

To prepare your herbs, you should use a herb grinder or a pair of scissors.  It is recommended to get a grinder because it is much faster and does a much better job of evenly grinding your herb which is important for optimal vaporizing performance.

Once your herbs are shredded, fill the VCBLB to the top and then attach the VCBUIS using a gentle threading motion.  The silicone o-ring around the VCBLB should make a tight seal with the VCBUIS, but should not need to be forced to assemble.  *Note:  please refer to the VCB fitting instructions if necessary.

We recommend using a vapor-specific VRIP Vaporization Water Tool or VWT, but the VCB will work with any other water tool with compatible down stem sizing.  We recommend adding crushed ice if your water tool has an ice catch as ice both cools the vapor and takes up air volume, in turn, minimizing oxidation and maximizing aromatherapeutic effects.

Insert the assembled VCB into the water tool of your choice, insert the VHW until seated in the VCBUIS, allow for a 20-30 second heat up on the first round so that the VCB warms up, and then take a couple of short and slow pulls then without pulling the wand out of the VCB completely empty your lungs and take in a long, deep breath of fresh full spectrum vapor.  The first inhale or two will result mostly in the warming of the chamber and a subtle release of the terpenoids and flavanoids.  Take two or more deep inhalations that will result in full-bodied vapor, and then you will want to stir up the dried herbs (can be done without VCB disassembly using a poker).  By stirring and breaking up the herb into smaller pieces, you will expose more surface area to release more vapors.

*Note:  Keep the VHW inserted into the VCBUIS between inhalations unless the pause is going to be so long as to result in over-heating of the herbs (subsequent inhalation will be smoky);  by keeping the VHW tip in the VCBUIS, but slightly cracking the seal it is possible to both keep the herbs warm and ready to vaporize throughout an extended pause, and avoid over-heating that will result in smoky vapor.

When the flavor diminishes or "drys", it can be concluded that the majority of the active essence has been extracted.

The VHW comes with an adjustable thermostat and simple analogue indication.  If you like lighter vapor and/or taking slower inhalations, turn it down a bit after it has heated up.  If you like thicker vapor and/or taking faster inhalations, you can keep the temperature turned up accordingly.  After a couple of dial-in sessions, it will become clear at which point on the temperature dial is ideal for the herbs you're using, the level of water tool vacuum created by the strength and rate of your draw, as well as the applicable geometric values, and your preference in vapor qualities.  Fastest heat up times will be achieved with the temperature dial turned all the way up and then turning back for usage, but it is also possible to simply leave the temperature dial tuned to a pre-determined set-point at all times and just be patient and allow for a slightly longer heat-up. Many experienced users remove the temperature dial after their optimal setting is found so that others without knowledge cannot change the setting.
